How it all started…
I wanted a painting for a room in my home, I couldn’t find the perfect fit, so I said “why not paint it myself?”
The blank canvas still hangs on the wall…
…and how it continues
As you look through my work (links above), you’ll see that I’ve had fun with just about every colour palette and explored loads of different techniques. But, I still haven’t found that ‘just right’ look for my dining room painting, fortunately it drives me on to develop new styles and play with paint! What’s not to like?
I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings as much as I have creating them. If you’d like to know when I complete a new piece, you can subscribe below.

All my materials are responsibly sourced from reputable suppliers. I use Arteza, Amsterdam and Pebeo acrylic paints to name a few.
My canvas is either Fredrix Primed Cotton 12oz or Russell & Chapple 12oz Acrylic Primed Cotton Duck and is mounted on good sized, seasoned and kiln dried red pine for extra durability.
The very good lightfastness of the paint, on quality frames and canvas means that my paintings are going to look good and last for a long time.
